With that special swishing sound all kids grew to know, the school bus doors swung open and a torrent of teenagers and kids flowed out of them, some running up the school steps immediately and others staying to chat up their friends for a while. Jessie waved goodbye to Meg. They had an agreement that they wouldn't embarrass or talk to each other at school if they had friends with them, unless it was an emergency. Turning to go into her first classroom, Jess disappeared through the big double doors, keeping her head down and trying to determine from a person's face if he or she was worth hanging out with or not. It was too hard.
Meg looked around and saw no one her age near the school steps. She wanted to check the playground, but instead followed her sister inside. For the first time she felt a tiny wobble of her confidence, not so outgoing as she was back home. Maybe it was because she had had a place there, her own friends, her own person. No one knew her here, and Meggie accepted it, joining the flow of students as they walked to the lockers and then classrooms.

"Stupid Candi..." Julian mumbled as he hurriedy ran towards the entrance gates of the school, with Bea right behind him
Julian was thoroughly annoyed. Why wouldn't he be? Instead of riding the bus or car he had to walk! Apparently Candi thought of her safety more than she did the comfort of her siblings. She was supposed to have drived both Julian and Bea to school today. But because of the circumstances this morning she didn't.
Entering the large doors of the school the twins headed towards their group of friends. Greeting them with a hug or a handshake. They then headed towards the math classroom, their schedule being exactly the same.

Jess dumped the books she didn't need in her locker, making sure her lunch money was still in her pocket along with her cellphone. Out of the corner of her eye she spotted Meg, looking lost and lonely in the swamp of strangers. Jessie gave her a wink, just to make her sis feel better. It hurt to see her like this, when Meggie had always been popular back home. Meg managed a weak smile and headed to her first class, which was probably something boring--she didn't know what Science would hold in store for her at this school, but she had never liked it. Jess sighed and headed to Math class. She didn't have any friends, either, but she was used to being alone, unlike Meg. Still, it would have been nice to have someone to talk to. OOC: Go to the Classrooms board now.
