"What the H*** is he doing IN here!?" Julian shouted angrily
“Deary me…those two are at it again.” Ariela said as she chopped up some celery for tonight’s dinner. The woman had brown hair and hazel eyes and a small smile on her elder features.
“Mother, you know those two will never change.” Her other daughter stated as she helped her mom with dinner “This is, what, the third time this week! Quite funny really.” Candi grinned. She was the eldest in the family; she got most of her looks from her father, the same jet black hair and the same deep brown eyes. The beauty that was able to turn heads, but not as great as her two younger siblings who got their looks from her mother, brown hair and hazel eyes.
Candi sighed, her father. He died a year ago in one of the most devastating car accidents she had ever seen. Even though 356 days had passed, she never really got over it. The accident had made a deep thinker out of her. Her family knew that, so to cover it up she would act naïve and childish. Her eyes never betraying what happened internally. Pretty weird for a woman out of college right? She didn’t mind though, this was how she lived her life and if people judged her only of her outwards look then they weren’t worth a second thought.
The screaming continued making Candi wince inwardly. She hated of the idea of the boy being near her sister. But she’d leave the kicking-him-out part of the job to her little brother. She’d go up there soon.
He always was overprotective of everyone in the family, especially to his twin sister; Beatriz. And, man, was he furious when he found the town player in his sister's room. And waaaay too close to her for comfort. He never really liked Dillon to begin with, but being in the same ROOM as his sister was enough to make Julian crack.
"Excuse you Julian! We're only studying. No big deal!" Bea said standing in front of her taller brother, trying to block his view of the room; but it proved futile. It WAS true. She knew of Dillon's "status" and she didn't like the guy either. But being the nice and considerate woman the she was she couldn't help but agree to the study session when Dillon asked her. In truth she was thankful for Julian for opening the door at that exact moment. He was getting into her personal space too much, and she felt seriously uncomfortable but she would never tell that to her stubborn brother
And so the battle between the two identical twins now ensued.
"Get him OUTTA here Bea! NOW!" the hazel eyed holder bellowed as he continued to glare at Dillon who looked as if he was about to run. 'What a woose'
"You don't even KNOW why he's here Julian! So don't you be misinterpreting anything!"
"I'm not misinterpreting anything! All I know is HE'S in the room and he SHOULDN’T be! He's better off rotting in h--"
"Would you just PLEASE stop being so unreasonable! You don't even KNOW the reason to why he's here!"
"I don't care! All I DO care about is that he's not anywhere NEAR you!" and with that Julian walked up to the blonde haired, blue eyed Dillon and gave him his most intense glare “Get out of here right now.” He snarled as Julian gripped the collar of Dillon’s shirt, lifting him up “And don’t you ever, and I mean EVER, go near my sister again. If you do, let’s just say that you wouldn’t be alive to even regret it.” He warned as he dropped the poor guy. Dillon then ran out of the house as fast as a snap of the fingers.
Bea inwardly sighed in relief. She was thankful for her brother yes, but she still was annoyed at him. So she glared at Julian who was now smiling a loving brotherly smile at her. Patting her head he walked out of her room. His work here was now done.
“JULIAN GABRIEL RAMIREZ!!!” Bea shouted as he tackled him to the ground “You did it again! What is up with you!?”
“Hey! Don’t you be complaining! I saw you sigh in relief after he was out. You know you can’t hide anything from me dear sis.” Julian said with a smirk. Ever since they were young those two were inseparable; even till today they wouldn’t go anywhere without the other knowing or following along. While Julian was able to read his little twin sister, by 2 minutes like an open book Bea wasn’t able to do so. He had a knack for observing people and making accurate assumptions for, like Candi, he was a deep and thoughtful person in reality. Not only was Bea not experienced in that are but Julian could hide his emotions so well even their mother wasn’t able to read him sometimes.
“Would you two please stop!? I swear if I don’t get my peace and quiet in here you’re not going to get you’re dinner tonight!” Candi exclaimed as she walked up the stairs, an annoyed yet amused expression in her eyes. Seeing the position her two dear siblings were in made her eyebrow raise “If I didn’t see it I would never have believed it!” she playfully gasped “Is there anything I should know about? Secret feelings perhaps? No wonder Julian’s so overprotective of you Bea…” Candi asked smirking as she started to walk away “Dinner’s in 15.” She called out while snickering inwardly; she really knew how to press their buttons
“CANDI!!! EWWWWWW!!!”
And that was what typically happened in the Ramirez household when everyone was back home from either school or work; although it wasn't the same without the youngest member the house was still pretty eventful. The twins would argue over something, the mother and older sister would ignore them for a time before the older sister finally decided to break them up with one, maybe two, annoying gestures. On a rare peaceful day, however, the twins would be doing something together. The mother would either be doing the chores of the house or relaxing. While the older sister would be running and on the time she arrived she would go up to annoy the twins just for the heck of it. A happy family indeed.
