"I'll be home later mom. Thanks for the dinner!"
It was dark out already, and the air was humid. The atmosphere never mattered to Candi though, she just ran whenever she could. Whether it be hot days in the summer, or cooler days in the winter, she ran.
She jogged along the large streets of Briarstone County. It was an ordinary area, there was a mall, a nightclub and other typical stuff. The best part she loved about this place was the night sky. It was filled with stars and she had never seen a sky such as this one.
And so Candi continued to run, with no idea as to where she was exactly going. Her mind was always in a dream-like state when she did anything relaxing. And this time was going to be no different.
She came back an hour and a half later finding her mom reading a book in the couch and her two younger brother and sister arguing yet again about some useless subject.
Candi trudged upstairs to take a shower. She then lay in bed to stare up at the ceiling.
Her youngest sister was arriving from the Elite camp today, and she wouldn't sleep until she saw Karmen again. Candi walked out of her room and down the stairs, she decided to wait for Karmen right in front of the entrance door, surprised when she saw her mother and the twins waiting as well.
Outside a car pulled up and a young figure walked up the steps of the porch and slowly opened the door. She was surprised when she was glomped by three older figures.
"Welcome home Karmen!"
