This is seriously weird. Is my brain split in two or something? 'Cause this is definitely not pretty.
Zack thought these words as he was wheeled down the Briarstone Hospital's hallway. It was his first time in here, and already he was being transported to the emergency room on a stretcher. Looking up at the ceiling as the walls rushed by, he was greeted by annoyingly cheerful goldfish, flying just above him.
I hate hallucinations. Or maybe they're ghosts. Or maybe I'm just plain crazy now.
He remembered how hard Devon had punched him in the face, and Zack wondered if he had lost some teeth. He hoped not. He didn't even get braces when he was a teen, because his teeth were almost perfcet in their alignment. It'd be a shame to get them knocked out by an overgrown birdbrain.
Oh look, that goldfish just swallowed an owl.
Seriously wondering if he was going crazy, Zack closed his eyes and willed the hallucinations to disappear. Maybe they'd open him up and find that his brain was crazy, pack him off and send him home and he'd get nursed his parents and sisters for the rest of his life?
Not good.

Dr. Burnham was a well renowned doctor in the hospital of Briarstone County. He had seen and trated a lot of people. So seeing a battered up young man didn't give him the slightest bit of agitation. Seeing that Mr...(he looked down at his clipboard) Alejo had a black eye and a deep cut in his lip, together with a couple of other cuts and bruises all over his body; he was probably in a sort of fight. What was up with kids these days? It seems they think that fighting would solve all their problems. At this thought, Dr. Burnham shook his head in disappointment.
Seeing the doors to the emergency room nearing he, along with several other nurses, quickened their pace to the room. As the double door opened, it was time Doctor Burnham did what he did best. Heal.

Karah loked at Zack with curiosity, smiling at Dr. Burnham then at Zack once more. She read throguh her notes, fighting. Terrible thing fighting, always ended up in bad news. She continued to smile.
Hey, Zack. Can you tell me just what you're thinking right now. Also what happened, and what you can see, hear, smel and taste at the moment.
She asked, a curious look on her face, as she pulled a pen from her pocket, and placed the nib on the notes part, waiting for Zack to speak.

"Well..." he began, ignoring how stiff his jaw felt. He reached up his arm and felt around the scar on his cheek, making sure the wound hadn't reopened. "Mostly my eyes are playing tricks on me, so I'm closing them for now." Grinning to himself as he kept his eyelids shut tight, Zack felt the stretcher slow a bit more.
"I smell... usual hospital smell, so nothing must be wrong with my nose, I think..." He cracked open just one eye, checked to see if his doctor was an obese old lady (she wasn't!) and then closed it again. "And I think there's blood in my mouth. A lot of things hurt, especially my arm, but the worst is my head--it's all cloudy, like the time I tried--" He laughed to stop what he was going to say. "Never mind."

Karah nodded, even though she knew he couldn't see her, as he had his eyes closed. She sighed, as she jotted somethings down. She rubbed her pregnant belly, and opened Zack's mouth, there was a bit of blood, fighting usually did that.
I asked you what you could smell, or whether you smelt anything funny, because when I was doing a course, a man came into A and E, told me he'd been in a fight ... some fight, he said he could smell weird things, turned out he had a tumor on his brain. Looks like your pretty fine. 'Part from these hallucinations, yeh? Well, if you start to smell burnt rubber, or over cooked bacon. Just shout me. Dr. Ashley. pleased to meet you.
She laughed slightly, looking at Zack's face.
Can you tell me exactly where you where hit most, so I can firstly examine there?
She asked.

A bit ashamed to admit he'd been beaten so easily, Zack coughed. "Hit me right in the face, the big brute did. Bullies are like that." Fingering his nose to check if it was broken, he remembered something else that might be relevant. "The whole of my left side hurts, too, since I think I hit a wall when I fell." Then the scar. It wasn't aching now, but Zack knew that if a wound opened on the old mark, it would bleed like crazy. "Oh, and... I was in an accident when I was 17; I had a very deep cut on my face, and it gets serious sometimes when it's opened up again."

Karah nodded listening to his words, and jotting a few things down about his past accident, flicking through previous notes from Zack's life, and then biting her pen.
OK. Well, I can't say it's opened again. Few nasty cuts and bruises, but nothing else much. You're nose will need to be check, just see if it's broken, but apart from that, you look alright. Except for these hallucinations. You inhaled anything, or bashed your head hard?
She asked, curiously, just examining his head, occasionally her pregnancy getting in her way.

"I guess I did hit my head on the wall, I got knocked out for a short time," he said, the memories starting to fade. "It's more of bright flashes of light that I'm seeing though, like when you've stared a light too long. Although they are very peculiar shapes," he said, opening his eyes to check on the lights. They looked like mini-suns, and they hurt, so he shut them tightly.
A few minutes later, Zack was unaware of any other questions being asked. He was fast asleep.
OOC:...unless you don't wanna end the thread yet. XD
